Our figures are based on comprehensive industry research and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data for typical watch components like stainless steel, plastics, leather, and batteries. For each ‘Certified Imperfect’ watch sold, we estimate the avoided environmental impact that would have occurred if it were discarded and a new watch had to be produced from virgin materials. These figures are dynamic and update live as our community grows.

We estimate approximately 1.05 kg CO₂e, 70 grams of material diverted from landfill, and 25 liters of water saved per average ‘Certified Imperfect’ watch sold. These are conservative estimates to ensure transparency.
