Return & Refund Policy

 

You can return your Sylvi watch within 10 days of delivery. However, please note that the replacement/refund will only be processed once we receive your return order at our warehouse. After all checks, it will take 3-4 business days for the refund to reflect in your original payment method. Please e-mail customercare@sylvi.in and specify your name, address, and order number to schedule the return. Our customer service team will advise you of the next steps and answer any questions.

Easy Returns
We ensure that the products ordered reach you in proper condition and we take stringent checks to ensure that. However, there is a remote possibility that while processing the orders, minor errors might occur and there may be a slight possibility of the following;

  1. The product may be damaged during transit
  2. An incorrect item has been shipped to you
  3. There is a manufacturing defect in the product.

The following shall be applied in any of the above cases:
In case you receive an incorrect item (different than what was been shown on the website) or the article has been damaged in transit, please contact us by email, or WhatsApp within 48 hours of receipt of the product and email the packaging and product photos to verify the credentials on the below email id. We will give you a solution within 2 working days.

For return eligibility, the following checks must be followed:

  • An Unboxing Video is required to claim a refund in case of damaged / wrong articles.
  • Merchandise must be returned to us within 10 days of receiving your package.
  • Merchandise must be unworn and unopened.
  • All watch returns must include the original box in its original condition.
  • If your order included free gifts, they must be returned as well. If the free items are not returned, the refund will be reduced by the online selling price of the free items.
  • Freebie products or discounts are non-returnable, non-refundable & non-replaceable.
  • We do not accept exchanges at this time.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless being returned due to damages or malfunction.
  • In some areas, where our logistic partner does not offer pickup service, the customer has to self-ship the product to our warehouse at their own cost.
  • Returns received by us beyond 10 days from the date of purchase or that do not meet the above quality standards can not be accepted and will be returned to the sender. The sender will be responsible for the return shipping.

Note:
In case of unsatisfactory product quality, the customer can have the product refunded. However, the customer will have to self-ship the product and all the shipping costs will be borne by the customer. The only product cost will be entitled to refund i.e. shipping charges are non-refundable.

In the case of a COD (Cash on Delivery) order, COD handling charges are non-refundable.

To facilitate the return shipment process, we kindly request you consider recording a video while carefully packing the item and handing it over to the courier boy. Send the video to our WhatsApp number. Your cooperation in this matter would be sincerely appreciated.

We offer a pickup within 24-48 hours for return requests if your area pin-code is serviceable. In areas where our logistic partner doesn’t offer pickup service, you may need to self-ship the product to our warehouse at your own cost.

If the pickup for your return request exceeds the designated 48-hour timeframe, please reach out to us for a re-initiation. We will reassign the pickup thrice, and if unsuccessful, you'll need to self-ship the product. All shipping costs will be borne by you, and only the product cost will be eligible for refund or replacement; shipping charges are non-refundable.

Prototype products are not eligible for return or refund. Replacement is possible within 10 days after the delivery of the product if it has manufacturing defects.

Gift cards purchased at Sylvi.in are not eligible for return, refund, or transfer and they can not be purchased via COD.

Refunds
In the event of any order being returned due to reasons such as being undelivered or a return or replacement request, once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed. For prepaid orders, the credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 3–7 business days. For Cash on Delivery orders, we would issue you store credit in the form of a gift card within 24 hours. This gift card would then be available for use immediately.

Cancellation Policy
In case of a request for Order Cancellation, one can either email us at customercare@sylvi.in.

The Sylvi.in reserves the right to cancel any order without any explanation for doing so. The company will ensure that any communication of cancellation of an order will be made in a reasonable time.

If we receive a cancellation request before the order has been processed, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount to you. We will not be able to cancel the order that has been partially or fully processed. The Sylvi.in reserves the right to decide whether the order has been partially or fully processed and you agree not to dispute the decision made by us and accept our decision regarding the cancellation.

At Sylvi, we strive to provide you with high-quality wristwatches that stand the test of time. To ensure clarity and fairness in our service, we have established the following Fair Usage Policy regarding the depreciation of our wristwatches, especially in cases where the product is lost.

Useful Life of the Product: 

  • The typical useful life of a Sylvi wristwatch is estimated to be 731 days.

Depreciation Calculation:

  • Depreciation Rate: 100% / 731 days = 0.137% per day.
  • If additional repairs or parts are required, these costs will be factored into the final value calculation of the watch. 

Application of Depreciation:

  • If a product is lost after 91 days of use under reverse shipment or repair procedure, a 12.47% deduction from the original purchase price will be applied to account for depreciation.
  • This depreciation rate reflects the reduction in the value of the product over time due to regular usage.

Consideration of Usage and Repair Needs:

  • The specific circumstances that led to the watch requiring repair will be taken into account.
  • If the watch is missing components or has sustained damage beyond normal wear and tear, additional deductions may apply based on the extent of the damage or the cost of the missing components.

Example Calculation:

  • Determine useful life: 731 days.
  • Calculate daily depreciation: 100% / 731 days = 0.137% per day.
  • Example: If we calculate depreciation for 91 days: 0.137% × 91 days = 12.47%.
  • Thus, after 91 days of use, a 12.47% deduction from the original purchase price will be applied.

Important Considerations:

  • Lost Products: If your watch is lost during reverse shipment or forward shipping, a depreciation deduction will be applied based on the period of use. For example, if a product is lost after 91 days of usage during shipping or the repair procedure, a 12.47% deduction from the original purchase price will be applied.
  • Damaged Products: The cause and extent of the damage will be assessed. Any additional repairs or part replacements required will be factored into the final valuation of the watch.
  • Products Used for 731 Days or More: If your product has been in use for 731 days or more and is marked lost during shipping, you will not be eligible for a refund, as the estimated useful life of a Sylvi wristwatch is 731 days.
  • Liability in Case of Loss: This Fair Usage Policy applies only if the company marks the product as lost during forward or reverse shipping. If the customer sent the product via self-ship and it is lost during transit, the company will not be held liable.
  • OPP: The original purchase price refers to the final amount paid by the customer after applying any applicable discounts, promotions, or offers.
